The Battle for Headspace

4 min readJul 19, 2025

How many times are you trying to execute a process or start a new project, and you get hit with a list of “Don’t forgets”…

Don’t forget we use this precise version of this framework.

Don’t forget you have to use this connection.

Don’t forget it doesn’t work here.

Don’t forget…

Don’t forget…

Don’t forget…

By the end of the conversation, you’re trying to keep all of the “don’t forgets” in your head, trying to remember what they were for and why you’re doing them.

This isn’t an AI problem to solve, this is a problem with how much information you need to keep in your head to get work done. You don’t have time to keep all this information in your head, you have AI chomping on your heels. It’s time for you to clear your head and remember what it was you were trying to do in the first place.

How much are you keeping in your head?

Having to remember one thing (flip this switch), yeah, that’s okay. You have to remember to flip the switch 17 times, tap your head, and click your heels; that’s too much, and you’re going to miss a step.

The best way to figure out how much is in your head is to write it all down on paper, make a list…
