The Title of your Meeting says it All

If you were going to build your own calendar app, the first thing you would do (post-celebration that you are creating this app), would be to create an event and that event would have a title.

Pause: Isn’t it interesting how all of our calendar apps call meetings “events” even though 80% of the time we use them to create meetings?

So here it is, what your users will see the first time they create an event/meeting — the Title.

Regardless of the awesomeness of your app, the title is what will be ubiquitous across all platforms and devices — phones, watches, laptops, tablets, etc — it never goes out of style.

If your goal is to get people to come to your meeting, be pumped, engaged, and even a little curious, all you have to work with is the title — that’s it — one line.

One line is going to make the difference between how people show up for your meeting (not when).
